It is always important to have a vague idea of what is going to be on show at a design fair before arriving. Apart from anything else it makes the whole visit more enjoyable and rewarding.
There being nothing worse than discovering a fascinating project just before you collapse from dehydration and exhaustion.
Take it from us!
And so in that sense for DMY Berlin 2011 we have picked out five – non-Berlin based – exhibitors we especially recommend.
They are all designers whose work we have seen and with whom we have spoken.
These aren’t recommendations made on the basis of a photo, a press release and a requirement to publish something, anything, on the topic. Rather based on quiet, serious consideration.
Obviuosly we strongly recommend looking at everything and talking to as many exhibitors as possible.
Especially at an event such as DMY Berlin which tends to have more concepts and case studies rather than market ready products per se.
However, the following five are in our, subjective if qualified, opinion, well worth checking out.
We’d welcome your feedback.
